Description: 

To support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of Water Treatment System within the Smelter complex by executing daily operational tasks, conducting routine inspections and chemical filling, identifying deviations, and reporting issues to ensure system functionality and compliance with standards

Operate and monitor the water treatment equipments in several facilities to maintain system reliability and efficiency

Perform daily operational tasks as per the monthly activity checklist, log equipment readings, and conduct inspections to minimize downtime

Identify abnormalities or problems in the plant and coordinate with the maintenance team during equipment handover/takeover to ensure work safety

Report any deviation from standard operating parameters 

Liaise with the other section to support smooth and uninterrupted chemicals water treatment system delivery to all the systems

Participate in safety initiatives by reporting near misses, attending monthly safety meetings, and always ensuring proper use of PPE

Conduct routine checks on safety equipments such as Hydrant System, APAR, and Fire Alarm System and maintain proper documentation in log sheets

Support ISO 9001 compliance efforts by following documentation protocols and responding to audit queries when required

Continuously develop technical knowledge related to the Water Treatment Systems operations
