Working Schedule : Regular working days 5:2 (Monday-Friday)
Responsible for the planning, management, and supervision of electrical maintenance, repair, and improvement activities for Primary Crusher, Overland Conveyor, Milling/Grinding, Flotation, as well as Siemens GMD, VSD systems from various manufacturers, Filter Plant, and High Voltage Breakers (33 kV and below). Ensure all systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably to support production processes.
Some of your duties will include:
Main Responsibility (Operation/Production/Technical/Projects/Administration)
• Manage and supervise electrical maintenance activities for Primary Crusher, Overland Conveyor, Milling/Grinding, Flotation, Filter Plant, and High Voltage Breakers (33 kV and below).
• Lead maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities for Siemens GMD and VSD systems from various manufacturers.
• Ensure the reliability and availability of critical electrical systems, including switchgear, high voltage breakers, motors, transformers, and protection and control systems.
• Develop and implement shutdown plans and preventive maintenance schedules for critical electrical systems, including high voltage breakers (33 kV).
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of electrical system failures, including fault analysis of VSDs, motors, electrical panels, flotation electrical systems, and high voltage breakers.
• Supervise and coordinate contractors and internal teams involved in electrical maintenance activities.
• Manage the procurement and utilization of critical spare parts and electrical materials.
• Ensure the implementation of SOPs, JSA, and HIRADC for all electrical work activities.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and HSE teams to ensure all electrical work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare monthly reports on electrical system performance, downtime, and improvement recommendations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Approve and control execution of electrical maintenance activities within the assigned operational areas.
• Assign and direct maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities related to Siemens GMD and VSD systems.
• Enforce reliability, availability, and operational standards for critical electrical systems and equipment.
• Approve shutdown plans and preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems, including high voltage equipment.
• Validate root cause analysis results and authorize corrective and preventive actions for electrical failures.
• Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate contractor and internal workforce performance related to electrical maintenance.
• Approve the use and allocation of critical spare parts and electrical materials in accordance with approved plans.
• Enforce compliance with SOPs, JSA, and HIRADC, including stopping unsafe or non-compliant electrical work.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and HSE to resolve electrical safety and quality issues.
• Review and endorse electrical performance reports and recommend improvement initiatives to management.
What skills and experience do you need?
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
Experience
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in electrical maintenance for fixed plant operations, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Electrical Supervisor / Superintendent.
• Proven experience with Siemens GMD, VSD systems from various manufacturers, Flotation, Filter Plant, and High Voltage Breakers (33 kV and below).
Technical Competency
• Approve and control execution of electrical maintenance activities within the assigned operational areas.
• Assign and direct maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities related to Siemens GMD and VSD systems.
• Enforce reliability, availability, and operational standards for critical electrical systems and equipment.

• Be able to utilize CMMS systems (SAP, Pronto, Maximo, or equivalent) to plan, monitor, and report mechanical maintenance activities.
