Job Title: Site Legal Manager

Role Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Site Legal Manager to oversee all legal operations on the ground in Lombok. You will act as the primary legal advisor for site-level activities, ensuring that all land acquisitions, construction phases, and hospitality operations strictly comply with Indonesian laws. This role requires a hands-on professional who can navigate local regulations, liaise with government officials, and provide clear legal guidance to both our project teams and foreign investors.
Key Responsibilities:
Land & Property Law: Oversee the legal processing of land acquisitions, titles, and leasehold agreements (Hak Milik, Hak Pakai, Hak Sewa, etc.), ensuring absolute security for the company and our buyers.
Permits & Licensing: Manage the application and renewal of all necessary site permits, including construction approvals (PBG/SLF), environmental clearances, and operational licenses for hospitality facilities.
Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with local vendors, construction contractors, and international clients.
Stakeholder & Notary Liaison: Work closely with local Notaries, Land Deed Officials (PPAT), and the National Land Agency (BPN) to expedite document processing and land certifications.
Government & Community Relations: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with local government authorities, community leaders, and neighboring stakeholders to prevent and resolve any site-level disputes.
Regulatory Compliance: Keep the project management and executive teams updated on changes to Indonesian real estate, foreign investment (PT PMA), and hospitality regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in law (Sarjana Hukum / S.H.) from a reputable university,
Minimum 5 years of professional legal experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role within the property development or real estate sector. Prior experience in a reputable law firm or legal practice will be considered a strong advantage.
Deep understanding of Indonesian agrarian law, zoning regulations, and foreign direct investment laws.
An active advocate license is an advantage.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Fully fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with local authorities and international investors.
Must be willing to be based full-time in Lombok and comfortable working dynamically across project sites.
