We are seeking a Quality Control Officer to oversee and monitor the construction quality of our villa projects in Lombok. The ideal candidate will ensure that all construction work adheres to design plans, specifications, and quality standards while maintaining close coordination with the management. This role provides an opportunity to develop technical and leadership skills, while gaining exposure to foreign construction practices and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
Monitor daily construction activities and ensure work meets design, quality, and safety standards.
Verify that materials used onsite match the approved RAB and technical specifications.
Conduct measurements and inspections to confirm that construction aligns with CAD drawings and approved plans.
Track project progress, materials, and costs, ensuring accurate RAB updates.
Direct and coordinate workers (including contractors and tukang) as instructed by the company owner — with confidence and professionalism, even when instructing older or more experienced workers.
Liaise directly with the company owner to communicate updates, instructions, and site issues.
Maintain detailed and organized records of progress, materials, and quality control (including photo documentation).
Represent and protect the interests of the company, ensuring all site decisions align with company objectives, not contractor preferences.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (S-1) in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in the construction industry (villa or housing projects preferred).
Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and technical plans.
Good command of English (spoken and written).
Must be able to use—or be willing to learn how to use—Artificial Intelligence tools as guided by the company owner.
Confident and assertive in giving directions to workers and contractors, including those who may be older or more experienced, while maintaining respect and professionalism.
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
Committed to acting in the best interests of the company, demonstrating integrity and accountability in all site operations.
Practical understanding of construction methods, measurement, and material quality.
Work Arrangement
Expected to work onsite whenever contractors are present, and take time off when contractors are offsite.
Flexible schedule depending on contractor activity.
Work from home permitted when not required onsite.
Additional Skills (Plus)
Ability to edit or update CAD drawings when required.
Proficiency in SketchUp for viewing and adjusting 3D models.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: IDR 6,000,000 – 9,000,000 per month
Allowance: IDR 1,000,000 per month (miscellaneous expenses)
Accommodation: Available within 15 minutes of the project site.
