Working Location: Site Based – West Sumbawa

Working Schedule: Regular working days 5:2 (Monday-Friday)

Some of your duties will include:

Supports planning, engineering coordination, technical evaluation, and execution monitoring of capital projects related to mining operations, including processing plant expansion, infrastructure development, utilities, logistics facilities, and supporting operational assets.

Ensures engineering activities align with project scope, schedule, budget, technical standards, and regulatory requirements while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external contractors

1. Project Engineering & Technical Coordination

Support development and implementation of engineering deliverables for capital projects including mining facilities, mineral processing plants, utilities, and infrastructure.

Coordinate engineering activities between internal departments, consultants, and EPC contractors.

Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with company standards.

Participate in conceptual studies, pre-feasibility, feasibility studies, and engineering packages.

2. Project Planning & Execution Support

Assist preparation of project execution plans, engineering schedules, and deliverables tracking.

Monitor engineering progress and identify risks that may impact project schedule or cost.

Coordinate cross-discipline engineering activities (mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, instrumentation).

Participate in engineering reviews and project coordination meetings.

3. Technical Evaluation & Procurement Support

Support preparation of technical specifications and tender documentation.

Participate in technical bid evaluation and vendor selection processes.

Review vendor technical proposals and ensure equipment compliance with project requirements.

Coordinate with Supply Chain Management for procurement of engineering packages and equipment.

4. Construction Readiness & Implementation Support

Support transition from engineering to construction phase ensuring engineering deliverables are complete.

Provide technical support to site teams during project implementation.

Participate in site inspections, engineering verification, and troubleshooting activities.

5. Compliance, Safety & Quality Assurance

Ensure project engineering activities comply with company HSE policies and regulatory requirements.

Support implementation of engineering quality assurance and risk management processes.

Coordinate with Policy & Permitting teams to ensure alignment with environmental and permitting requirements.

6. Project Reporting & Documentation

Maintain project documentation including engineering deliverables and technical reports.

Prepare engineering progress reports and technical updates.

Support preparation of project documentation including engineering studies and project close-out reports.

What skills and experience do you need?

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Mining, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering)

Minimum 3–7 years of experience in electrical or instrumentation engineering in mining, mineral processing, heavy industry, or EPC projects

Demonstrated experience in in project engineering, engineering design, or project development in mining, mineral processing, heavy industry, or EPC/EPCM environments

Experience supporting capital projects or processing plant facilities is preferred

Strong technical skills, including an understanding of mining and mineral processing facilities (such as crushing, grinding, flotation, tailings, utilities, and infrastructure systems), familiarity with engineering development stages from Conceptual Study through EPC, the ability to review engineering drawings such as PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications, and a solid grasp of project management principles covering scope, schedule, cost, and risk management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with advantageous experience in project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project, and preferably familiar with engineering document control systems

Demonstrates strong core competencies, including technical engineering analysis, project coordination, effective problem‑solving and technical evaluation, collaborative stakeholder engagement, and solid planning and organizing abilities

Demonstrates key behavioral competencies, including building trust, fostering collaboration, driving results, applying analytical thinking, and supporting continuous improvement

Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate
