Arya Resorts is part of Arya Properties, a Bali-based hospitality developer focused on creating unique lifestyle resorts in emerging destinations across Indonesia.
We are currently operating a resort in pre-opening phase in Sumba, while developing additional resort projects in Sumbawa and Lombok.
Job Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee daily resort operations, ensuring smooth performance across all departments while maintaining high service standards and supporting the pre-opening and development phase of the property. The position will be based in our resort in Sumba.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of all resort departments.
Ensure service standards and guest satisfaction are maintained.
Coordinate between Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and HR.
Support pre-opening setup, SOP implementation, and staff training.
Monitor operational costs and assist with budgeting.
Ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations.
Support recruitment, scheduling, and manpower planning.
Report directly to senior management and ownership.
Maintain efficient communication across departments.
Assist in improving operational procedures and guest experience.
Requirements
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in hotel/resort operations.
Previous experience as Front Office Manager / Room Division Manager / Guest Experience Manager preferred.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Experience in remote locations or resort environment is an advantage.
Good knowledge of hospitality standards and procedures.
