Pesona has a strong brand, a loyal guest following, and a beautiful product. What we need now is someone who makes sure the world knows about it, and that every room is working as hard as it can.

High season largely takes care of itself. The real job is low season: November to May. We want someone who walks in with a clear point of view on how to fill a boutique island resort during the quiet months and the experience to back it up.

We are NOT looking for someone to manage what already works. We are looking for someone to build what doesn't exist yet.

This is an active, market-facing position. You are in conversation with agents, growing direct bookings, coaching the front office team, and always thinking about the next reservation. You own the full guest journey from the moment someone discovers us online to the moment they check out, and you make sure they come back.

You report directly to the GM. You inform and recommend. She approves. If you see an opportunity, you say so. If bookings are light and you have a strategy, you bring it. This is a genuine partnership with someone who wants your expertise at the table.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Revenue & Occupancy
Daily occupancy monitoring — trends, gaps, and pickup patterns
OTA management and rate parity across all channels, including LittleHotelier
Competitor rate tracking and market intelligence delivered to the GM weekly
Distribution gap analysis — channels we're not on, markets we're not reaching

Agent Relationships & Trade Development
Build and sign contracts with travel agents, DMCs, and wholesalers
Maintain an active pipeline — who's sending bookings and how we're performing
Identify partnership opportunities with dive operators, surf schools, retreat planners, and anyone who sends guests to Gili Trawangan

Direct Bookings & Guest Relations
Own direct booking conversion — website enquiries, email follow-ups, return guest outreach
Build relationships with past guests and give them a reason to come back and book direct
Oversee guest communication standards across the front office team
Develop a package and offer ideas for direct channels — brought to the GM for approval

Front Office & Housekeeping
Train and develop the FO team on service standards and the full arrival experience
Ensure the guest journey from the boat to the room is consistently exceptional
Oversee housekeeping standards through the HK Supervisor
Own FO and HK operational month-end reports, submitted to the admin team

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Proven experience in hotel revenue management, OTA optimisation, or rooms management
A track record of building agent and trade relationships that generate real bookings
Strong understanding of boutique or independent hotel distribution
Confident communicator in English: with guests, agents, and ownership
Someone who brings a point of view, not just a report
Comfortable working in a remote island environment with a small, close-knit team
Experience with LittleHotelier or a similar PMS is an advantage
