Responsibilities
Compliance Responsibilities (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality management)
· Comply with all pertaining environmental laws and regulations in Indonesia.
· Comply with all laws and regulations applicable in Indonesia on Occupational Health, Safety and Mine as well as those required under the Regulation of the Ministry of Mines and Energy No. 26 of 2018 and Decree of Ministry of Mines and Energy No. 1827 K/30/MEM/2018.
· Comply with all SHLP, Environment and Social Responsibility requirements under PTAMNT Management System, PTAMNT vision, mission, and values.
· Implement and comply with all company's environmental policies and procedures including but not limited to waste management, water management, energy conservation, biodiversity conservation, environmental incidents handling and reporting
· Oversee the compliance of environmental policies and procedures in his/her respective work area.
· Ensure the compliance of environmental management and protection permits in his/her respective work area.
· Accept personal responsibility for the health and safety of every worker under or assigned to his/her supervision.
· Carry out regular inspection, safety meetings to address mine safety.
· Accept personal responsibility for the health and safety of every worker assigned to his/her supervision.
· Prepare and sign off inspection reports.
· Report on every hazard accidents and incidents.
· Accept responsibility for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of all mine facilities, infrastructures, plants, and equipment assigned to his/her supervision.
· Plan and ensure the performance of planned maintenance schedule including maintenance schedule of all mine facilities, infrastructures, plants, and equipment.
· Supervise and inspect all mine facilities, infrastructures, plants, and equipment under his/her responsibility.
· Ensure that investigations, examinations and testing of facilities, infrastructure, installations and mining equipment are always carried out.
· Ensure that inspections, testing, and commissioning of all mine facilities, infrastructures, plants, and equipment are performed before and after use and/or repaired accordingly.
· Prepare and sign off inspection, testing, commissioning reports of all mine facilities, infrastructures, plants, and equipment are completed.
· Be responsible to Mine Technical Manager (KTT/PTL) for safety and health of all mining employees under his/her subordinates.
· Undertakes inspection, investigation and assessment.
· Be responsible to Mine Technical Manager (KTT/PTL) for safety & health and prosperity of all employees assigned to him/her; and
· Completes and signs inspection, investigation and assessment reports.
· Be responsible to Mine Technical Manager (KTT/PTL) for safety of installation, work and proper maintenance of all mining facilities, infrastructure, installations and equipment for which is assigned.
· Plans and emphasizes implementation of planned maintenance schedule and improvement of mining facilities, infrastructure, installations and equipment used.
· Supervises and inspects all mining facilities, infrastructure, installations and equipment within the scope of his responsibility.
· Ensure that Inspection, Investigation inspection and assessment of mining facilities, infrastructure, installations and equipment is always carried out.
· Conducts inspection, investigation and assessment of mining facilities, infrastructure, installations and equipment before utilized, after reassembled, and/or repaired.
· Completes and signs reports on inspection, investigation and assessment of mining facilities, infrastructure, installations and equipment.
· Ensure team compliance with the company’s Quality Management System through daily monitoring and support.
Main Responsibility (Operation/Production/Technical/Projects/Administration)
· Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
· Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads.
· Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities.
· Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
· Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage.
· Conduct preventative maintenance work & follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work.
· Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time
· Directly supervise the maintenance work to ensure that plant and equipment running well to meet the milling production.
· Set goals and coordinate the activities of with others Supervisor and Planner to ensure that schedule maintenance and emergency repairs are accomplished with minimal disruption to production schedule.
· Ensure that adequate resources are available for meeting scheduled maintenance and repair needs.
· Review all maintenance schedules and coordinates with other departments to assure optimal equipment and plant availability to meet business needs.
· Responsible for supervising all grinding mechanical maintenance activities and ensuring that safe work practices are followed. Conduct periodic safety inspections.
· Monitor and review costs, establish and maintain budgets and recommend the replacement or updating of equipment.
· Oversee new installations, including design, modifications and new installation start-ups.
· Respond to emergencies that could cause injury to personnel or loss of production.
· Ensure compliance with safety and job training programs.
· Ensure compliance with mining, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
· Other duties as assigned.
Authorities (The right to make decisions or take actions in accordance with responsibilities and position within the organization)
· Authorize site inspections to identify problems and required maintenance actions.
· Approve weekly maintenance schedules and assign work based on forecasted workloads.
· Direct and coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities.
· Approve and validate repair work completion and timeliness.
· Control inventory and equipment management, including proper storage procedures.
· Approve and monitor preventative maintenance tasks and follow-up actions.
· Determine and implement strategies to meet workload demands.
· Direct maintenance teams to ensure equipment and plant performance meets milling production requirements.
· Set goals and coordinate activities with other Supervisors and Planners for scheduled and emergency maintenance.
· Allocate and authorize the use of resources required to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
· Approve maintenance schedules and coordinate with other departments to achieve optimal plant availability.
· Enforce safe work practices during grinding mechanical maintenance activities and conduct required safety inspections.
· Approve cost tracking, budget management, and recommendations for equipment replacement or upgrades.
· Authorize new installation activities, including design reviews, modifications, and start-up processes.
· Make decisions and initiate actions during emergencies that threaten personnel safety or production.
· Enforce compliance with safety and job training programs.
· Enforce adherence to mining, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
Education
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
· 8 years of experience with maintenance of large process plant facilities (crushing /milling/ grinding).
· At least two years of direct supervisory experience or adequate supervisory training is required
Technical Competency
· Be able to conduct thorough site inspections to identify maintenance problems and risks.
· Be able to develop and organize weekly maintenance schedules based on workload forecasts.
· Be able to coordinate and oversee daily maintenance and cleaning activities.
· Be able to supervise repair work and ensure timely completion.
· Be able to manage inventory, equipment, and proper storage systems.
· Be able to perform and follow up on preventative maintenance activities.
· Be able to develop strategies to meet workload and maintenance deadlines.
· Be able to supervise mechanical maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and production performance.
· Be able to set goals and coordinate work with Supervisors and Planners to minimize disruption to production schedules.
· Be able to evaluate resource requirements and allocate manpower, tools, and equipment.
· Be able to review maintenance schedules and coordinate with other departments for equipment availability.
· Be able to supervise grinding mechanical maintenance activities and enforce safe work practices.
· Be able to monitor maintenance costs, manage budgets, and assess equipment replacement needs.
· Be able to oversee installation projects, including design review, modifications, and commissioning.
· Be able to respond effectively to emergencies affecting personnel or production.
· Be able to ensure implementation of safety and job training programs.
· Be able to apply and enforce mining, safety, and environmental regulations.
