Some of your duties will include:

Supervise the activities of landscaping works

Supervise the activities of ground/ earth works such as cutting grass, cutting tree & Clearing bushes

Undertake daily whipper sniper schedule

Provide strong and clear leadership to direct reports

Plan and organize work to accomplish the organization’s goals efficiently and effectively, drawing on the strengths and ideas of team members.

Assign work appropriate to the roles and skill levels of employees.

Provide the materials and equipment needed to succeed.

Ensure employees understand their duties and performance expectations.

Communicate essential information between management and employees.

Develop the workgroup as a team, fostering an environment of team engagement in problem-solving and continual improvement.

Encourages group problem solving through collaborative decision-making

 

What skills and experience do you need?

Tertiary degree with a major landscape engineering or a related field.

Certified of Competency for Frontline Operational Supervisor of OHS and Mine Environment from DEMR

Minimum 5 years of experience as Supervisor Cutting Tree & Clearing Bush in Landscaping, particularly in Landscaping.

Hold an operational inspector certificate or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.

Good knowledge of shrubs, plants, trees, perennials and landscape material, working knowledge of equipment.

Requires strong communication, conflict‑resolution, leadership, critical‑thinking, and time‑management skills, including the ability to listen effectively, manage conflicts constructively, delegate tasks, and guide a diverse team within a supportive work environment. It also demands the ability to develop structured problem‑solving processes, balance heavy workloads under time constraints, and manage both projects and personnel efficiently.

Possess leadership trait, good communication and interpersonal skills; team player; good coaching/mentoring; good analytical; conflict resolution; sound decision-making skills.

Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.

Working Location: Site Based - West Sumbawa

Working Schedule: Regular working days 5:2 (Monday-Friday)
