Responsibility:

Assess potential security risks to the construction site and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

Implement and manage access control systems to ensure that only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the site.

Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders in case of any incidents.

Oversee the installation and maintenance of security equipment, such as CCTV systems, alarms, and perimeter fencing.

Conduct regular security audits to identify and resolve security breaches or lapses.

Develop emergency procedures and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for incidents like trespassing, theft, or vandalism.

Manage the security budget and ensure that all security measures are cost-effective.

Provide security training and briefings to construction staff and new hires.

Prepare reports on security status and incidents for project managers and stakeholders.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

A degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field is often preferred.

Minimal 5 years’ experience in in security, preferably within the construction industry or similar environments.

Experience with physical security, surveillance systems, and emergency response

Be able to assess security risks and develop mitigation strategies tailored to the construction environment.

Be able to implement and manage access control systems to regulate site entry.

Be able to coordinate effectively with law enforcement and emergency responders during security incidents.

Be able to oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of security equipment such as CCTV systems, alarms, and perimeter fencing.

Be able to conduct thorough security audits and address security vulnerabilities.

Be able to develop emergency response procedures and conduct security drills.

Be able to manage the security budget efficiently, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

Be able to design and deliver security training sessions for construction staff and new hires.

Be able to prepare comprehensive security reports for project managers and stakeholders.
