Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Pemenang. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. Responsibilities also include supervising kitchen staff, helping design and maintain menus, monitoring food inventory and ordering supplies, and enforcing food safety standards. Collaboration with the culinary team to create exceptional dining experiences for guests is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
Proficiency in menu planning, recipe creation, and food preparation techniques
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise and train kitchen staff
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, as well as inventory management
Time management, problem-solving, and multitasking skills in a high-pressure kitchen environment
Previous experience in a similar role; prior experience in an Italian cuisine or pizza-specialized restaurant is advantageous
Passion for culinary arts and excellence in delivering quality dishes
