Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Some of your duties will include:

· Provide technical support and expertise for electrical systems during commissioning and operation readiness phases of the process plant expansion project.

· Review, verify, and ensure completion of electrical systems in accordance with design specifications, Indonesian regulations, and company standards.

· Lead and execute testing, inspection, energization, and commissioning activities for all electrical equipment (e.g., transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, motors, variable speed drives, cabling, earthing systems, and instrumentation interfaces).

· Support development and review of commissioning procedures, method statements, and electrical handover dossiers.

· Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure electrical systems are commissioned safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

· Monitor electrical commissioning activities, identify issues, and develop action plans for resolution.

· Ensure all electrical systems are properly documented and prepared for handover to Operations.

· Support the implementation of Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and safe work practices during commissioning activities.

· Actively participate in punch list creation, management, and closeout for electrical systems.

· Support training of Operations and Maintenance teams for plant start-up and normal operations.

· Prepare daily and weekly reports on electrical commissioning progress and issues.

· Plan, organize, and execute pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for electrical equipment and systems.

· Review electrical line diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, and control system interfaces.

· Conduct functional tests (FAT, SAT, loop tests) and ensure electrical systems operate correctly and safely.

· Ensure complete documentation (as-built drawings, test records, certifications) is ready for turnover to operations.

· Supervise vendor activities related to electrical equipment installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.

· Adhere to and promote company safety standards and Indonesian electrical regulations throughout commissioning activities.

· Diagnose and resolve electrical issues during commissioning to support smooth transition into operational readiness.

Persyaratan Khusus

What skills and experience do you need?

· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

· Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering roles; At least 5 years specific experience in operations and maintenance of electrical systems and engineering for industrial/mining/process plant projects; Commissioning and EPC project experience is highly preferred.

· Strong understanding of power systems (HV, MV, LV), motor control systems, protection systems, instrumentation interfaces, SCADA systems, and grounding systems; Familiarity with standards: IEC, IEEE, Indonesian regulations, and best practices;

· Experience with electrical testing equipment (insulation resistance tester, circuit analyzers, secondary injection test sets, etc.).

· Certified Electrical Expert (Sertifikat Tenaga Teknik Ketenagalistrikan/TTK) for medium/high voltage systems is an advantage; Authorized Permit Receiver or Electrical PTW (Permit to Work) experience is a plus.

· Excellent communication and coordination abilities; Strong planning; problem-solving; organizational skills; high commitment to safety and quality standards; Ability to work in a dynamic commissioning environment with multi-disciplinary teams.

· Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate;
