Amman Mineral Industri has an Anode Plant in its Copper Smelting unit located at the Sumbawa Island in Indonesia. A Flash Converting Furnace converts molten copper matte received from the Flash Smelting Furnace to blister copper for production of copper anodes at the Anode plant and finally copper cathodes downstream. This role is responsible for metal accounting with respect to operations across the smelter site.
Role Responsibilities:
To oversee and improve Metal Accounting system across the plant
To accurately track, reconcile, and report production from concentrates to final products
To provide technical support through metal accounting with respect to operations across the plant
To regularly report official production figures and process inventories
To conduct in depth analysis of copper, gold, silver recoveries
To drive the regular verification of critical process measurements, sampling and assays that are necessary for robust metal accounting.
To implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and relevant statutory, safety, health and environment guidelines related to Metal Accounting
Role Requirements:
Graduate in Chemical Engineering; Metallurgical Engineering
2+ years in large production plant, not necessarily a smelter though any kind of pyrometallurgical industry experience would be highly desirable.
Knowledge of ISO quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14000 series and related standards)
Meticulous record-keeping and documentation practices
Meticulous attention to detail
Superior communication and presentation skills
Working Location: Site-based
Working Schedule : 5:2 Regular
