Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef / Executive Chef to lead and manage our kitchen operations. This role is responsible for ensuring high food quality, efficient kitchen operations, strong team leadership, and effective cost control in line with company standards.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations.
Plan, develop, and execute menus aligned with the restaurant/hotel concept.
Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
Manage and train kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluation.
Control food cost, inventory, and kitchen expenses.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOP standards.
Creative, disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
Coordinate with management and service teams to support smooth operations
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in kitchen operations, with at least 2 years in a Head Chef / Executive Chef role.
Educational background in Culinary Arts or Hospitality is preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good knowledge of food cost control and inventory management.
Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Work Location: GILI AIR, NORTH LOMBOK
