About the role
We are seeking an experienced Demi Chef - Pastry to join our dynamic team at Seven Secrets By Hanging Gardens' in North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. As a full-time Demi Chef - Pastry, you will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
What you'll be doing
Assisting the Executive Chef in the daily operations of the pastry kitchen
Preparing a wide range of desserts, baked goods, and other pastry items to the highest quality standards
Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure consistent and efficient food production
Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene practices
Participating in menu development and testing new recipes
Providing training and guidance to junior pastry staff
Ensuring proper inventory management and stock control
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 years' experience as a Demi Chef or equivalent role in a high-calibre restaurant or hotel kitchen
Formal culinary training or certification in pastry arts
Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, plating, and presentation
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management and organisational skills
A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
