Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your designated section to the highest standards.
Manage and train Commis Chefs and other junior kitchen staff.
Ensure consistent quality and portion control according to recipes and company guidelines.
Monitor food stock levels, assist with stock rotation, and inform management of shortages.
Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant working environment in line with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen brigade to support a positive, efficient, and professional working atmosphere.
Contribute ideas for new dishes and menu development as required.
Qualifications:
Relevant experience in a professional kitchen
Solid understanding of food preparation and hygiene standards
Ability to supervise and support junior kitchen staff
Good time management and teamwork skills
Willingness to contribute ideas and maintain quality standards
