Role Overview
The Psychologist provides professional mental health services to support the emotional well-being, resilience, and workplace performance of employees across the site. This role delivers assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, and psychological education while working closely with HR, Medical, and Safety teams to strengthen employee wellness programs. The position ensures all practices comply with Indonesian regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Psychological Assessment & Intervention
* Conduct psychological evaluations, screenings, and diagnostic assessments for employees with emotional, behavioral, or work-related concerns.
* Provide individual counseling, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support using evidence-based methods.
* Develop personalized intervention plans and track progress to promote employee well-being.
Mental Health Support & Case Management
* Manage cases involving stress, trauma, workplace conflict, and personal issues affecting performance.
* Maintain confidential records in accordance with regulatory and ethical requirements.
* Coordinate with medical teams to deliver integrated care for employees with combined medical and psychological needs.
Employee Well-Being & Preventive Programs
* Develop and conduct mental health workshops, awareness sessions, and resilience-building programs.
* Support company initiatives on stress management, mental health literacy, work–life balance, and psychological safety.
* Guide managers in handling sensitive employee concerns and fostering a supportive workplace culture.
Collaboration & Advisory
* Partner with HR, Safety, and Medical units to identify psychological risks and implement preventive strategies.
* Participate in multidisciplinary reviews regarding fitness for duty, return-to-work decisions, and behavioral risk assessments.
* Provide expert recommendations to management on psychological factors impacting team dynamics and culture.
Compliance & Ethical Standards
* Ensure all psychological practices meet national regulations, licensing requirements, and ethical codes.
* Uphold company values and industry best practices in all psychological services.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health and well-being policies.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related field.
* Valid professional license or certification to practice psychology in Indonesia (mandatory).
Professional Experience
* At least 5 years of experience providing psychological services, ideally in a corporate, industrial, or remote-site setting.
* Background in counseling, assessment, crisis intervention, and mental health program development.
Knowledge & Skills
* Strong understanding of psychological assessments, therapeutic techniques, and mental health protocols.
* Knowledge of Indonesian health and labor regulations related to mental health.
* Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
* High level of discretion in handling confidential information.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and empathetic approach to sensitive situations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office with ability to prepare clear reports and documentation.
