Position: Hygiene Specialist
Placement: Sumbawa Barat
Responsibilities:
Conduct systematic inspections and compliance audits in mining operational areas to identify and mitigate occupational health, sanitation, and environmental hazards, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal safety protocols.
Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-miss events to determine root causes, analyze contributing factors, and develop corrective and preventive action plans in accordance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop and deliver comprehensive occupational health and safety training programs for new employees and contractors at mining sites.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety inspections, training activities, incident reports, and environmental monitoring data.
Provide expert guidance on controlling occupational exposure to hazardous substances and ensure the implementation of applicable technical standards and best practices within mining operations.
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HSE program documentation, including manuals, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
Support the implementation of emergency response plans and actively participate in crisis management drills and training.
Oversee health, safety, and environment implementation in daily work activities and designated work areas.
Ensure that all subordinates refrain from any involvement in bribery or corrupt practices in their daily work.
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Public Health, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
Possession of AK3U certification (General OSH Expert) or Industrial Hygiene certification is highly preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an HSE coordination role or a similar position, preferably in an industrial environment such as mining or construction.
Familiarity with Food Safety and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
Proven knowledge and experience in risk assessment and hazard identification.
Strong understanding of HSE regulations and standards, incident investigation, and reporting.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
