ROLE SUMMARY
The CHRO will serve as a strategic HR leader responsible for shaping people strategy, building high-performing talent, and fostering a strong, ethical, and mission-driven organizational culture within a research-focused institution.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Strategic HR and Organizational Development
Lead HR strategy aligned with institutional mission, workforce growth, and long-term sustainability.
Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning
Oversee fair, competency-based recruitment, onboarding, and critical talent development.
Performance and People Systems
Design and manage performance management systems, KPIs, and coaching frameworks aligned with organizational and donor expectations.
Policy, Compliance, and Governance
Ensure HR policies, labor law compliance, and donor requirements are met with high ethical standards.
Learning, Culture, and Engagement
Drive leadership development, continuous learning, employee engagement, and change management initiatives.
Compensation and HR Operations
Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll, and HR budgeting in collaboration with the Finance team.
Leadership and Advisory Role
Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and the governing board on people and organizational matters.
