Job Description

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company recipes and presentation standards.

Operate espresso machines and other café equipment safely and efficiently.

Greet and serve customers in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools, and workstations.

Monitor and manage daily stock of ingredients and report shortages to the supervisor.

Handle customer payments accurately (if required).

Provide product knowledge and make recommendations to customers.

Follow all company SOPs, hygiene, and food safety standards.

Support the team in daily café operations to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

At least 6 months of experience as a barista (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).

Basic knowledge of coffee, espresso techniques, and latte art is an advantage.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Able to work in a team and under pressure.

Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Detail-oriented, disciplined, and have a strong work ethic.

Well-groomed and professional appearance.
