Mandalika Intercultural School is looking for a passionate Learning Support to join our team. The role of a Learning Support may involve a variety of tasks, such as supporting the student’s academic and social development, and working collaboratively with the homeroom teacher and the student’s family.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with student on a one-to-one basis across the school day to support his/her academic and social needs.
Provide consistent guidance and encouragement in the classroom and library to promote engagement and reduce disruptions.
Ensure the student plays safely with his/her classmates, avoiding both physical and verbal aggression.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with homeroom teacher to ensure consistent strategies and alignment in supporting the student throughout the day.
Create behavior progress report for the student and communicate regularly with the student’s parent.
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
Experience working with children or students with additional learning needs is an advantage.
Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
Patient, empathetic, and flexible in supporting a range of student abilities.
Collaborative, proactive, and willing to learn.
