Some of your duties will include:
Contract Management
Implement and maintain contracting policy, procedures and systems, and monitor the adherence of these procedures within either the Operations, Business, or External Relations groups or its contractors
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating logistics and marine contracts, including high-value agreements such as vessel charter parties and international 3PL Service
Support contract administration activities, including documentation, renewals, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
Provide analytical support to identify cost optimization opportunities and mitigate commercial risk.
Administer contract matters relating to Government regulatory compliance, claims, disputes, invoicing/payments, correspondence, back charges, taxes, insurance, liability, indemnities, bonds and retentions
Vendor Governance & Sourcing
Direct vendor governance across port, marine, and logistics operations, ensuring alignment of vendor strategies with operational priorities.
Assist in vendor sourcing and selection processes for the logistics and marine category through RFx and tender processes, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and performance criteria.
Develop and maintain supplier evaluation systems to assess cost effectiveness, service delivery, and risk exposure.
Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure vendor strategies support business continuity and scalability
Performance Management & Risk Mitigation
Oversee vendor performance through robust KPIs and SLAs, driving structured reviews and implementing improvement plans where needed
Proactively identify and mitigate vendor-related risks across the logistics value chain to ensure uninterrupted service and operational resilience.
Build long-term vendor partnerships, fostering trust, transparency, and innovation in service delivery
What skills and experience do you need?
Bachelor's degree in law, logistics and transportation/ supply chain management or a related field, with having relevance training and certification in supply chain management (logistics, procurement, sourcing etc.) is preferred
Having 5 years relevant experience, particularly in pricing or procurement in the Freight Forwarder or Shipping Line company or Contract Administrator in the Mining or Construction/ EPC Industry.
General understanding of the Indonesian business, legal system, company law, immigration, manpower, tax, importation, mines and energy regulations.
Strong analytical capabilities and negotiating skills, sound business sense, advanced documentation skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.
