Some of your duties will include:

The role oversees the quality control processes specific to architecture work of the construction and renovation / revitalization building and infrastructure projects. This role involves ensuring that architectural and engineering designs are executed to meet quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. The specialist will work closely with project manager, superintendent, engineers, and construction teams to enforce quality standards and address any issues that arise throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Control Planning: Develop and implement quality control plans tailored for project construction; Establish quality standards and metrics for design, construction; Regularly review and update quality control policies to reflect industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.

Project Oversight and Inspection: Monitor construction activities in daily basis to verify adherence to quality standards and specifications. Conduct reviews of architectural and engineering designs, construction drawings, and project specifications; Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements; Identify design discrepancies, quality issues, and potential risks, and collaborate with project teams to address and resolve them.

Conduct site audits and inspections to assess the quality of materials, workmanship, and compliance with safety regulations; work with Project Manager, Superintendent, and engineering team to address quality control issues and implement corrective and preventive measures.

Compliance and Reporting: prepare comprehensive quality control reports, including findings, recommendations, and status updates for project stakeholders; Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and quality control activities.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to quality control processes and procedures to enhance project outcomes; Stay current with advancements in infrastructure construction technology, quality control methodologies, and regulatory changes; Implement innovative solutions to address quality challenges and improve the effectiveness of quality control measures.

What skills and experience do you need?

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering from reputable university. Has an equivalent combination of Project & Construction Management experience are necessary;

Have 7 years of related experience in Quality Control Architectural works for commercial and residential construction or renovation / revitalization projects with proven experience as a Inspector QC Architectural; in additional having minimum 3 years’ experience in EPC project would be a plus;

Must have depth knowledge and experience on architecture works lifecycle items from design, drawings, engineering, construction, to project completion;

Understand construction statement method related to architecture works from specification of materials and supporting tools, process and duration, sequences of work, inspections, quality of workmanship, closing out punch list and defect items, to hand over acceptance;

Proficiency in quality control tools and software; be able to provide reporting;

Professional certification in quality control or a related discipline is preferred;

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams; Possess leadership traits and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment dependent on managing multiple project timelines and schedules simultaneously; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards; 

Good communication skills in English both verbal and written; computer literate
