Samara Lombok is seeking a Project Manager – Infrastructure & Maintenance to lead infrastructure development and set up a long-term maintenance division. This role reports directly to the Managing Director – Operations & Corporate Governance and plays a critical part in driving site execution, team leadership, and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development: Lead both Infrastructure and Maintenance divisions with strong on-site presence, discipline, and accountability. Build team culture aligned with OPTICS values.
Pre-Construction Oversight: Own infrastructure planning, including design review, constructability, sequencing, and technical coordination with consultants, QS, and internal stakeholders.
Infrastructure Execution: Manage daily infrastructure works (earthworks, drainage, roads, utilities, slope protection); supervise contractors and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Maintenance Division Setup: Establish and operationalize the Maintenance Division to oversee long-term asset management (roads, utilities, structures) with preventive and corrective systems in place before end-2026.
Planning & Scheduling: Develop and monitor infrastructure schedules; coordinate with QS, Villa PMs, Procurement, HSE, and Consultants to ensure aligned execution.
Governance & Risk Reporting: Submit structured weekly reports covering progress, cost tracking, risks, blockers, and safety compliance; enforce documentation and site governance standards.
People Management: Mentor and manage the site team, delegate responsibilities, and drive weekly outcomes through visual planning tools.
Handover & Close-Out: Oversee handover to Ops and Villa PMs, ensuring submission of as-built drawings, warranties, and punch list rectification.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in infrastructure project management, preferably in mixed-use or hospitality developments
Proven experience in leading site teams and managing multidisciplinary contractors
Strong technical knowledge of earthworks, utilities, drainage, road construction, and slope protection
Experience setting up or managing maintenance teams or systems is a strong advantage
Skilled in project scheduling, site coordination, BoQ validation, and contractor supervision
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
High level of discipline in reporting, governance, and safety compliance
Proficient in project tracking tools (Kanban boards, MS Project, or equivalents)
