Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Head Chef in overseeing the daily front-of-house and service operations. This role bridges kitchen leadership with customer service, ensuring seamless coordination between culinary execution and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

•                     Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth integration between kitchen and dining room operations.

•                     Oversee and manage front-of-house staff, including hosts, servers, and bartenders.

•                     Ensure food is served promptly and according to quality standards set by the kitchen.

              •            Supervise guest service operations to deliver a consistent and exceptional dining experience.

•                     Monitor dining room cleanliness, ambiance, and overall presentation.

•                     Coordinate with kitchen staff for menu updates, service timing, and special events.

•                     Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.

•                     Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.

•                     Monitor inventory and support the Head Chef with ordering and cost control as needed.

•                     Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation regulations are followed.

 

Qualifications:

•                     Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in a restaurant.

•                     Strong leadership and customer service skills.

•                     Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, especially with kitchen teams.

•                     Solid understanding of food service, hospitality, and health regulations.

•                     Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

•                     High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or culinary education is a plus.

•                     Familiarity with POS systems and basic inventory/ordering procedures.

Physical Requirements:

•                     Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the restaurant floor.

•                     Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-pressure restaurant environment.
