Executive Housekeeper- Luxury Villas

Job Summary:

The Executive Housekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and comfort across all areas of the luxury villas, including guest rooms, public areas, and operational spaces. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising housekeeping operations to provide a world-class hospitality experience.

As a leader, the Executive Housekeeper oversees the housekeeping team, provides training, ensures adherence to international hygiene and safety standards, and optimizes operational efficiency. This role also involves budget control, inventory management, and maintaining seamless coordination with other departments to ensure an exceptional and memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Housekeeping Operations Management

· Oversee and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance across all villas and public areas.

· Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, villas, and common areas to maintain impeccable standards.

· Develop and implement housekeeping procedures, cleaning schedules, and quality control measures.

· Ensure timely preparation of villas before guest arrivals and maintain high-quality room presentation.

· Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

2. Team Leadership & Staff Development

· Recruit, train, and manage housekeeping staff to ensure service excellence.

· Create and oversee staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.

· Provide continuous training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge of hospitality standards.

· Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for staff development.

· Foster a positive and professional work environment that enhances motivation and productivity.

3. Guest Service & Coordination

· Address and resolve housekeeping-related guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.

· Coordinate with the Front Office, Engineering, and Food & Beverage departments to ensure smooth operations.

· Maintain an exceptional level of discretion, privacy, and personalized service for VIP guests.

· Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve guest satisfaction and service quality.

4. Inventory & Budget Management

· Manage housekeeping supplies, linens, guest amenities, and cleaning equipment efficiently.

· Monitor stock levels and place orders to prevent shortages while optimizing costs.

· Develop and control housekeeping budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.

· Oversee maintenance of housekeeping equipment and liaise with vendors for repairs and replacements.

5. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

· Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for housekeeping operations.

· Regularly review and update cleaning techniques, materials, and sustainable practices.

· Implement innovative housekeeping solutions to enhance operational efficiency and guest experience.

· Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements to exceed guest expectations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor in luxury villas, resorts, or five-star hotels.

· Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards, linen care, and professional cleaning techniques.

· Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and staff development skills.

· Experience in managing a multicultural team and fostering a positive work environment.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-oriented approach.

· Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic operational needs.

· Proficiency in English (spoken & written); additional languages are a plus.

· Familiarity with housekeeping software and property management systems (PMS) is an advantage.
