About the role
Sikara Lombok Hotel is seeking a talented and experienced Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our hotel's mechanical systems, ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities. With our hotel situated in the heart of Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our thriving hospitality business.
What you'll be doing
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of mechanical systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner to minimise disruptions to hotel operations
Conducting regular inspections and implementing proactive maintenance strategies to optimise the performance and efficiency of our mechanical systems
Collaborating with other departments to ensure the smooth integration of mechanical systems with overall hotel operations
Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance data
Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry
Proficient in the maintenance and repair of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Proactive and detail-oriented approach to ensure the highest standards of maintenance and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
