Amman Mining Company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Non-Destructive Examination Quality Superintendent (NQS) to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities across major construction projects. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this key role ensures that all engineering, procurement, and construction work adheres to project specifications, industry standards, and applicable national regulations.
Responsibilities
Review and approve Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) procedures including RT, UT, MT, PT, and VT.
Audit subcontractor NDE results to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Conduct in-house training and certification of Amman personnel, and potentially contractors.
Assist in the execution and validation of welder qualification tests.
Provide expert guidance on NDE inspection techniques for process equipment.
Qualifications
Certified ASNT or ACCP Level III in RT, UT, MT, PT, and VT.
Certified AWS QC1 – CWI or SCWI, or equivalent (e.g., CSWIP 3.2 / CWB Level 2 or 3).
Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and Chinese is an advantage.
Advanced knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, and ISO standards.
Proficient in advanced NDE techniques, including PAUT and TOFD.
Skilled in digital radiography systems, including CR and DR technologies.
