Job Description: Spa Supervisor / Manager


Position Overview: The Spa Supervisor / Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the spa to ensure a high standard of service and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing the spa team, maintaining the spa facilities, and developing marketing and sales strategies to promote the spa’s services. The Spa Supervisor / Manager is also responsible for budgeting, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the spa, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Develop and implement spa policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure the spa is clean, well-maintained, and presents a welcoming environment for clients.


Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise spa staff, including therapists, receptionists, and support staff.
Schedule and coordinate staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and development opportunities for staff.


Customer Service:
Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall client experience.


Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure the spa complies with all health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly.
Train staff on health and safety protocols and procedures.


Facility Management:
Oversee the maintenance and repair of spa equipment and facilities.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for maintenance and repairs.
Ensure all equipment is in good working order and properly sanitized.


Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends and developments to keep the spa competitive.
Implement new technologies, treatments, and services to enhance the spa’s offerings.
Seek opportunities for professional development and encourage staff to do the same.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a spa or wellness center.
Strong knowledge of spa operations, treatments, and services.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and spa management software.
Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
