what are we looking for?

Would you like to call the ocean your office and give people from all around the world a once-in-a-lifetime experience?

tasks & responsibilities

Join our awesome Social Media Manager and help create and share exciting content on different platforms!

Use tools like Hootsuite and Canva to make our posts even better.

Connect with experts and influencers online to spread the word about our project.

Make sure our social media content matches our goals and message.

Help us understand what’s working and what’s not.

Get involved in organizing photos and videos for our projects.

Be a mentor and friend to other members of Gili Shark Conservation, helping them be their best selves!

requirements

You are able to start your internship somewhere between  the 1st of May and the 1st of June 2024.

You are Open Water certified and have a minimum 20 dives.

You have excellent photography, videography, and editing skills.

You are good at using photo and video editing software like Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Premiere Pro.

You have a strong understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) and their respective audiences.

You have strong skills in writing in various forms (e.g., captions, short article, etc.)

You have the ability to work independently.

You have a passion for marine conservation.

You have a creative mindset and are skilled at storytelling and content creation.

You have experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Canva, etc.

what can we offer you?

Basic Salary of 2.500.000 IDR

Housing Allowance: 750.000 IDR

PADI Scientific Diver Course (value: 4.750.000 IDR)

Conservation Diver EMP Course (6.500.000 IDR)

Minimum 4  scientific dives a week including rental equipment 

4 months of field experience with the research team of NGO Gili Matra Bersama
