Some of your duties will include:

To supervise and lead an operations shift team to ensure safety of people, plant and the environment whilst meeting LNG power plant generation demand in an efficient and reliable manner.

Ensure the Facility is operated in such a manner that maximized Owner profits and minimizes losses.

Maintain operations performance by monitoring appropriate indicators with timely reporting. 

Serves as primary facility contact (acting Plant Manager) during non-business hours.

Conducting weekly shift meetings to cover facility operations, safety, and work rules. 

Maintains a high level of equipment availability by endeavoring to improve equipment reliability, operating procedures, and performing required equipment tests and preventative maintenance.

Keeps the Operations Superintendent informed of facility operating status and equipment problems.

Maintains accurate records and submits all required reports in a timely manner.

Maintains good communications with internal and external customers to ensure equipment is safely removed from service for repairs with minimum impact to operating schedule.

Performs plant isolations as per LOTO/PTW procedure to ensure safety for work to be undertaken on plant equipment.

Liaise and coordinate with LNG plant Operators.

Liaise and coordinate with Coal Power Plant Operators.

Serves as LNG Power Plant Lead Operator coordinating the efficient reliable supply of power.

Produce Procedures and Instructions as required to safety operate the plant.

Responsible for recording all plant faults/defects with sufficient detail to allow follow-up investigations.

Responsible for recording all plant related events in written form and compiling similar reports from subordinate staff.

Assist in the preparation of 1-year and 5-year ahead operations budget.

Optimize the costs of operating power assets by improving operations efficiency and effectiveness.

Carry out regular inspection, safety meetings to address plant safety.

Accept personal responsibility for the health and safety of every worker under or assigned to his/her supervision.

Responsibility for the safety operation of all facilities, infrastructures, plants, and equipment assigned to his/her supervision.

Report on every hazard, accident or incident.

Other duties as assigned.

 

What skills and experience do you need?

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

Have minimum 7 years’ related experiences in similar role as Shift Supervisor in LNG Plant industry

Meets all Indonesia legal requirements for operating a high-pressure boiler.

Computer literacy with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook software.

Advanced knowledge of the typical plant layout, equipment, and systems of a LNG power plant.

Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) sufficient to undertake this role.

Maintains a valid car driver's license.

Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.

Strong computer skills and be competent in all Microsoft Office software programs, as well as project-specific software.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; good in coaching/mentoring; good analytical; conflict resolution.
