Position : Senior Government Relations Analyst

Location : NTB

Role Summary & Responsibility : 

Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and government entities while at the same time establishing and nurturing relationships with key government officials.

Communicate effectively with government stakeholders to advocate for the company’s interest while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Analyze proposed legislation and regulatory changes to assess potential implications and provide recommendations to the company/internal stakeholders.

Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

Facilitate the permitting process by coordinating with government agencies/institutions to obtain necessary approvals and licenses for project development and operations.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including environmental standards, land use regulations, and safety protocols.

Develop a strategic government relations plan aligned with the company’s objectives and priorities.

Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on government relations issues and potential risks or opportunities.

Identify opportunities for engagement to advance the company’s interests, including participation in industry associations.

Requirement :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Communication, Social Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Has experience a minimum of 5 years in related positions.

Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive or controversial subjects with tact, kindness, and professionalism.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.

Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.

Ability to record information accurately and clearly.

Excellent Public speaking with sincerity and passion, conveying genuine enthusiasm as company representative..
