Some of your duties will include:
Responsible to lead Power Control team and liaised with Combine Cycle Plant and Power Customers site wide
Responsible for the maintenance, engineering and management of the power plant control system at coal plant diesel plant in accordance with the operations and maintenance manual books, standard, government regulation and best practices
Provides leadership to all control engineers and is responsible for team member development, technical training, and maintaining employees qualifications
Responsible for the continued development, management, and evaluation of manpower, operating, and capital projects and budgets for the Power Control System team
Provides guidance and quality control for control team activities
Develop work plan and responsible for all power control system reliability
Serves a lead role in control team improvement programs
Provide guidance to engineering and technical support team
Maintain Power Control System team performance by monitoring appropriate indicators with timely reporting
Implement projects and program within the power department that provides continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of Safety, Environment, People, Production and Costs
Available to acts as Superintendent or other position of the power plant when needed
Ensures the transfer for technology, skills and experience from employee to employee
Responsible for monitoring activities of contract operation personnel supporting the power department’s effort
Liaises and coordinates with stakeholders to ensure the are fully informed of Power O&M activities to ensure timely and proper outcomes occur
Participate in internal and external improvement initiatives outside of the immediate department’s needs as requires from time to time
Liaise with CCPP project team on as needed basis to help the project get information and other support without sacrificing current operating power plant
What skills and experience do you need?
Bachelor Degree in Electrical or relevant engineering discipline with 10 years operation experience in the control system in power plant either Coal Fired Power Plant and Combine Cycle Power Plant;
Has minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role as Sr Engineer Control System in progressive technical and supervisory;
Familiar with INFI 90 legacy system, ABB 800xA, ABB AC800, ABB AC450 and Rockwell Automation;
Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate;
Strong computer skills and be competent in all Microsoft Office software programs, as well as project-specific software;
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; good in coaching/mentoring; good analytical; conflict resolution.
