Goorroo’s changing this by offering a tutoring membership that matches students to tutors perfect for them based on their unique learning needs.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic, and passionate tutor to make a change in virtual education to fill the position of Tutor at Gooroo Indonesia.
Job Responsibilities
Planning and preparing for students’ learning objectives and activities
Creating an environment of mutual trust, respect, and fun
Commit to teaching based on the booking session
Helping students to engage in learning
Assessing students’ learning and providing comprehensive feedback to students
Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward students at all times
Providing timely feedback and report to the Tutor Excellence team
Job Qualifications
Have a minimum of 2 years of experience
Minimum education D3 / S1 of any major with GPA minimum of 3.00
Able to teach using English and Bahasa Indonesia
Comfortable using computers
Have experience working with students in offline or online classes
Have a strong communication skill & passionate about teaching
In-depth subject knowledge
Strong sensitivity to student’s learning styles
Having a language proficiency certificate or any other teaching certification is preferred (for Mandarin: HSK, YCT, BCT / for English: IELTS, TOEFL, CELTA / for Japanese: JLPT)
Preferably having experience teaching students for IB / A-Level / TOEFL / IELTS / SAT / GRE
